1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN with at least 2 years of specialty experience andBLS/ACLS
certification for a day-shift position in Bowling Green, KY. Details Work in a Cath Lab with 2 procedure suites within a hospital setting Staffing model is a 4-person team per patient case Utilizes Cath Lab equipment including GE, IVUS, and VOLCANO systems Documentation completed in Merge Cath Lab Application and Meditech Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including Left and Right Heart Cath, TEEs, Cardioversion, Pacer Implants, Defibrillator Implants, TILT tests, and Stress Tests Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week Call required 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days per week Floating required to Cath Lab and Outpatient Stress Test areas Requirements Active KY or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certification required Minimum 2 years of similar Cath Lab RN experience required Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab travel experience required US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration One professional reference required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures as part of a collaborative Cath Lab team Newly renovated, state-of-the-art Cath Lab opened in March 2023 Facility features brand new EP equipment Solid color scrubs required per dress code Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates acceptedCareer Insights for Cardiology Registered Nurse
