Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a full-time Night Shift RN to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care on our inpatient rehab units. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you'll assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, and monitor complex conditions for patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, and other serious illnesses. Collaborate closely with therapists and physicians, educate patients and families, support safe discharges, and contribute to quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives in a mission-driven environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive night shift nursing care to inpatient rehabilitation patients Perform ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in condition Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and case managers on interdisciplinary care Educate patients and families on rehab goals, safety, and discharge plans Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Support patient mobility, ADLs, and functional independence goals Follow infection prevention, safety, and fall-reduction protocols Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives Required Skills Inpatient rehabilitation nursing Medication administration Patient assessment and triage Care planning and care coordination Neuro and stroke rehab care Spinal cord injury management Wound and skin integrity care Patient and family education Electronic health records (EHR) Infection prevention and control
