The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various nursing practices, including medical-surgical, intensive care, and telemetry. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Perform venipuncture and manage intravenous (IV) therapy for patients. Monitor patients' conditions, documenting changes and communicating effectively with the healthcare team. Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and wellness strategies. Assist in acute pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort. Utilize knowledge of anatomy to assess patient needs accurately and provide appropriate interventions. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as EPIC. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. Experience Candidates should have a valid Registered Nurse license with experience in acute care, intensive care, or telemetry preferred. Familiarity with ventilator management and wound care treatment is advantageous. Strong knowledge of anatomy is essential for effective patient assessments. Previous experience working in a collaborative healthcare environment will be beneficial for this role.
