1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for an LTAC unit requiring ACLS, BLS, and a compact or LA RN license. Details

LTAC ICU

unit setting Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM Patient ratio of 1:5/6 Performs specialized procedures including TPN, wound care, drain management, foley catheter care, and narcotic administration Epic EMR experience required Block scheduling considered No call-in requirements Requirements Active RN license, Compact or Louisiana license in hand required upon consideration ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA certifications only) Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required LTAC experience preferred but not required Epic charting system experience required Up-to-date NURSYS report required (within 4 weeks of consideration) Additional Information Care for critically ill patients requiring ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex medication administration Provides care across cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, endocrine, gastrointestinal, and neurological patient needs Orientation held five days per week Two manager or supervisor references required prior to starting the contract (not required for consideration) Charge RN references are not acceptable Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible Requested time off must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process to avoid offer rescission Previous permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have a full year separation from the health system before returning as a traveler First-time travelers are welcome to apply Staff may be required to participate in an emergency response team during declared emergency events, with related pay details communicated separately
