As a dedicated school nurse, youll play a pivotal role across 1-2 school sites, ensuring quality care for diverse student populations and collaborating closely with education professionals. This assignment runs ASAP through late May 2027, offering consistent hours35 per week, with a standard school day schedule plus a lunch break.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid RN license in Louisiana; BSN preferred, ASN accepted Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but a demonstrated passion for working with children is essential Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets Experience caring for students with trachs, g-tubes, diabetes, and creating/maintaining precise medical records Strong communication skills and experience training and delegating to non-medical staff Familiarity with IEPs and conducting health screenings Willingness to serve on either side of the area as assigned, supporting the districts needs Up-to-date on all credentialing, including drug screening and fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:
