This contract role runs from your immediate start through May 22, 2026, offering full-time hours (35 hours per week, Monday through Friday aligned with the school calendar). You will be dedicated to one or two campuses, with flexibility to serve where your expertise makes the greatest impactwhether on the East or West Bank. As a valued member of the school community, you'll provide essential health services, address daily medical needs, and be a trusted resource for students and staff alike. Key Qualifications:
Active RN license (BSN preferred, ASN accepted) Minimum 1 year of school nurse experience required Comfortable with trach care, g-tube management, diabetes support, and medical documentation Skilled in IEP development, health screenings, and training non-medical staff Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets Strong record-keeping and communication abilities Adaptable and willing to travel between assigned campuses as needed Must successfully complete district drug screening and fingerprinting
Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on care, support chronic and acute student health needs, and maintain up-to-date health records Coordinate with educational teams on IEPs and 504 plans Conduct student health screenings and manage ongoing care plans Train and support educators and staff in basic medical procedures and emergency response Engage with families and medical professionals to ensure holistic care The district values nurses who bring energy, empathy, and a passion for student wellness.
