5x8s Days shiftWeekly Pay:
$2,463/week Job responsibilities: Evaluate patients before surgery, check medical history, verify NPO (nothing by mouth) status, and confirm surgical consent. Stock the OR suite, gather sterile surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, and verify that all machinery functions properly. Manage the overall room workflow, monitor vital signs, assist anesthesia providers during intubation, and maintain strict sterile safety boundaries. Collect, properly label, and document any tissue or lab specimens taken during the operation.Experience requirements:
At least 2 years of RN Operating Room experience required. Experience working with and maintaining confidential information. Experience working in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.Education requirements:
Bachelor's of science in nursing.Certification & License Requirements:
Active RN LA state license or compact state license required.BLS, ACLS
