Overview Registered Nurse with excellent IV-insertion skills for part-time outpatient infusion work. Our practice provides individualized care in a calm, patient-centered setting. Join our vibrant integrative medical practice as a Part-Time Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) in, California! This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver personalized, holistic patient care through infusion therapies, including IV infusions and LDA sub cut desensitization injections. As a vital member of our team, you will combine your expertise in nursing with innovative integrative approaches to promote healing and wellness. We are seeking energetic, detail-oriented professionals passionate about advancing patient health in a supportive environment that values your skills and dedication. Duties Responsibilities Start and maintain peripheral IV lines Administer prescribed IV therapies according to written protocols Monitor patients before, during, and after infusions Obtain and document vital signs and clinical observations Recognize and respond appropriately to infusion reactions or changes in patient status Maintain accurate treatment records Follow infection-control, medication-safety, and emergency procedures Coordinate with the prescribing clinician regarding patient response and concerns Maintain treatment-room supplies and assist with inventory oversight Provide patients with clear, reassuring explanations of procedures Administer infusion therapies, including IV infusions, medications, and botulinum toxin treatments, ensuring precise technique and patient safety. Educate patients on treatment procedures, post-care instructions, and health coaching to empower their wellness journey. Manage aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infections and ensure sterile environment standards are met. Monitor for adverse reactions or complications during infusion sessions and respond promptly with appropriate interventions. Qualifications Valid California RN license with current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Proven experience in infusion therapy, including IV insertion and catheter care. Experience with medical documentation is preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to infusion procedures and patient assessment. Experience working with diverse patient populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities or in geriatrics.
