Key Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license Current CPR and first aid certification Completion of safety care training Minimum two years of general nursing experience, including prior supervision responsibilities and staff training Strong communication abilities, with a passion for working in educational settings and engaging diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care to students, responding to health needs, injuries, and medical emergencies Manage medication administration according to physician orders and school policies Conduct health screenings and communicate findings to families and multidisciplinary teams Monitor and document student health information with accuracy and confidentiality Train and oversee school staff in health-related procedures Collaborate with special education teams to support students with complex health needs across programs
