Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current, active RN license in Massachusetts Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or similar nursing environment preferred Ability to assess, triage, and respond to routine and urgent student health needs Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers Strong organizational abilities, with familiarity in maintaining accurate student health records CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

Provide daily nursing care for high school students, addressing injuries, illnesses, and ongoing health conditions Support medication administration and health care plans for students with chronic conditions Manage documentation and maintain confidential health records in accordance with school guidelines Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies or urgent student health concerns Educate students and staff on good health practices and preventive care Serve as a liaison between families, school staff, and outside healthcare providers as needed
