Job Description

Weekend On Call Registered Nurse - Hospice Services of Massachusetts - a 4-star hospice agency! 4:30p Friday to 8:30a Monday. $600 for the weekend and an additional $150 per admission and $75 per visit. Mileage reimbursement. This is an on-the-road position, and the candidate must have a reliable and insured vehicle and be willing to travel. In this role, you will respond to on-call messages, complete comprehensive assessments of patients, provide nursing care, complete clinical notes, and supervise hospice CNAs.
Responsibilities:
Respond to on-call messages that may include making recommendations via phone and making visits Complete a comprehensive assessment of patient and family to determine hospice eligibility and care needs Provide nursing care Complete clinical notes regarding patient condition and care given Supervise hospice CNAs Teach patients and loved ones self-care techniques as appropriate Provide appropriate support at time of death Initiate plan of care and make revisions as patient status and needs change Assess and evaluate patient status Work with interdisciplinary team to meet the emotional needs of the patient and loved ones
Requirements:
