Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring medical-surgical interventions with telemetry monitoring. Your expertise will support patient recovery, ensure safety, and promote optimal health outcomes across diverse clinical settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient assessment, critical thinking, and proficiency with electronic health record systems, including Epic and Cerner. Responsibilities Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data to detect arrhythmias and other cardiac abnormalities promptly. Administer medications accurately, including IV infusions, pain management treatments, and specialized therapies such as Botulinum toxin injections. Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess vital signs regularly to evaluate patient status. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with best practices and hospital protocols. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic and Cerner. Assist in procedures requiring aseptic technique, including suturing, catheterization, and specimen collection. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication administration, discharge instructions, and health coaching strategies. Manage acute pain cases, trauma-related incidents, or complex medical conditions such as infectious disease care or hospice needs. Support triage activities by prioritizing patient needs efficiently in urgent or emergency situations. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards while maintaining patient confidentiality. Requirements 2 Year of Med-Surg/Tele experience Required
