• RN Qualifications: Current licensure in the State of MA as a Registered Nurse
• RN. Minimum of 2 years of Wound Care experience in a Nursing Home. Wound Care Certification preferred. Wound Care Nurse

Registered Nurse Job Summary:

Ensure completion of skin assessments assigned to charge nurses. Review of admission skin assessments. Inform necessary departments of new or worsening skin issues. Ensure necessary referrals are made. Rounding with wound care specialist. Ensure high risk residents have interventions/preventative measures in place. Correspond with DME suppliers to ensure equipment and supplies are ordered and delivered and pick-up timely. Ensure that acute care plans are completed according to policy. Ensure, assess and monitor appropriate treatments are in place. This is a brief overview of job responsibilities and not intended to be all inclusive.
