MDS Nurse Coordinator:
Valid RN License in the state of MA Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting, preferred. Clinical experience, education or specialty skills specific to geriatrics is desired. Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long term care. Great interpersonal skills for effective daily interaction with Residents, family members and all members of the Interdisciplinary Team Must have knowledge in PPS assessment as well as OBRA compliance. Must be a self-starter and a high attention to accuracy and details and possess good time management skills Ability to make independent decisions and follow through with limited supervision. Must have at least 1 year of MDS/MMQ coordinator experience.
