This contract position is ideal for a skilled RN or LPN/LVN with a passion for supporting young learners' health and well-being in a collaborative environment near Malden, MA. Bring your nursing expertise to the school environment, where you'll work closely with students, parents, faculty, and staff to ensure a safe and healthy atmosphere for all.
Qualifications:
Active RN or LPN/LVN license required Experience in a school, pediatric, or adolescent healthcare setting preferred Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to respond effectively to a variety of student health concerns and emergencies Knowledge of state and federal guidelines for student health Ability to build trusting relationships with students, families, and staff What you'll do: Provide on-site nursing services, including first aid, medication administration, and chronic disease management for students Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with district and legal standards Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to support students' health needs in the learning environment Educate students and staff on important health topics, including hygiene, infection prevention, and wellness Serve as a resource and advocate for student health, liaising with community providers when needed Respond promptly and effectively during medical emergencies Experience the rewards of guiding students to better health while contributing to a dynamic and supportive educational community.
