Role:
Project Independence Services Inc. is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) in New Bedford, MA. This position offers $42/hour for 20 hours per week and provides an opportunity to deliver patient-centered care while supporting individuals in maintaining their independence. Part-time:
20 hours/week [Consistent/flexible] schedule No overnight shifts, no on-call. Supportive, mission-driven team Meaningful work serving individuals in the New Bedford community
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders Monitor and document patient health status, progress, and changes in condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care Educate patients and families on health management, medications, and discharge planning Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Respond to patient needs and emergencies with professionalism and clinical expertise
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited program Current BLS/CPR certification required Previous clinical nursing experience preferred Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and care teams Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a commitment to quality care
