A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
RMN/RGN/RLD
for a day post or night shift covering holidays and emergency's for our 30 bedded nursing home. Must have sound knowledge CQC regulations, care planning and administration of medication. Preferred experience of working in a care home setting. We look for the nurse to lead and support our trained care staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents with range of physical and mental health needs. Dementia awareness is essential and a sound knowledge of the NMC Guidelines. Liase with health and social care professionals involved in the wellbeing of individual residents to maintain a holistic approach to their care. As well as family members.Positions Available:

- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patient's vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in [state]
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required
