2 procedure roomsJob Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at the time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a cardiac cath lab, CVOR, or similar cardiovascular procedural setting
• First-time travelers may be considered with a proven background in cardiac cath lab nursing
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CPI certification required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythm interpretation, procedural sedation monitoring, and invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Ability to work on-call, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Comfortable floating within scope to pre-op/PACU as neededResponsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor throughout care, and support safe recovery
• Assist with PCI, pacemaker procedures, loop monitor placements, TEEs, cardioversions, and related interventions
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, obtain and evaluate 12-lead EKGs, and support procedural sedation
• Perform scrub, circulator, pre-procedure, and post-procedure duties as assigned
• Support sheath removal, hemostasis, IV management, and invasive line monitoring
• Work closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow
