$1,850 - $1,950

Schedule Expectations:

Every other weekend, holiday coverage as scheduled, and on-call shifts required

Charting System:

Epic preferredJob Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of registered nurse experience
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• CPI certification may be required for compliance
• Experience in PACU, perioperative nursing, or post-anesthesia care strongly preferred
• Ability to float within scope as needed
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative clinical settingResponsibilities
• Provide safe, high-quality recovery care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit
• Monitor airway status, vital signs, pain levels, sedation, and post-operative stability
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, blood products, and emergency interventions as needed
• Support pre-operative and post-operative procedures across a variety of surgical cases
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition, including dysrhythmias, respiratory concerns, and hemodynamic instability
• Educate patients and families with clear discharge instructions and follow-up guidance
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, phlebotomy, and interpretation services
