Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from pain management procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition post-surgery, ensuring stability during recovery. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments to evaluate patient recovery progress. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health systems. Adhere to established standards of care and protocols for patient safety. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience in critical care or PACU preferred; familiarity. Proficient in using electronic health record systems. Strong assessment skills with the ability to recognize changes in patient conditions promptly. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
