Job Description

We are looking for a Pediatric/Family Nurse Practitioner who can deliver primary medical care to patients' age newborn to 21-year-old. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will be able to perform independently well and sick visits in a private clinic. The successful candidate will work as a team with our physician, other mid-level provider, and medical assistants and will assist in delivering premium care to each and every patient. For full time 9-5pm Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and (2) Saturday a month. Pediatric/Family Nurse Practitioner responsibilities Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations for both well and sick child visits. Be able to manage ADHD/ADD and other mental health Illnesses Update patient medical records in EHR and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment Analyze laboratory test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options Deliver quality care independently while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity. Be able to see 20-30 patients/day Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions Pediatric Nurse Practitioner skills Master's Degree in Nursing 2+ years' clinical pediatric nursing experience Maryland valid nurse practitioner license Ability to work within a team and take direction Be able to do simple medical office procedure (e.g. I and D) Must be familiar with the EHR medical charting system Strong written and interpersonal communication skills Benefits for Full time employee: Part time benefits is negotiable

  • License Fees Renewal of AANP membership and licenses, DEA & CDS fee paid by the company

  • 401K Retirement Plan Pay for full time: $120,000.
00 per year and increase of $5,000 yearly for the next 5 years; Bonuses are given at the end of the year. On call with other mid-level provider every 3 weeks; laptop is provided
