Infection Control and Staff Development Nurse Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab Job Summary:

As an Infection Control and Staff Development Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality care while promoting a culture of excellence within our organization. Infection Control and Staff Development Nurse is responsible for implementing infection control measures, developing and implementing staff education programs, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures to prevent and control infections in our facility Conduct regular surveys and assessments to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement staff education programs that promote professional growth and development Provide training and coaching to staff on infection control principles and best practices Conduct infection control audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and address potential infection control risks Maintain accurate records and reports related to infection control and staff development activities
Requirements:
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland 1 year of experience in infection control and staff development Strong knowledge of infection control principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
