Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Embark on a fulfilling opportunity to support students as a contract Registered Nurse in a dynamic school setting near Stevensville, MD. Enjoy a structured schedule running approximately 8 AM - 4 PM, Monday through Friday, providing essential care to two secondary students who attend school on different days. This unique role may involve splitting time between two high schools, offering variety and engagement in your workday. Further caseload specifics and potential bus-riding requirements are being developed, ensuring you have all the details you need for success.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Maryland RN license required Demonstrated skill in g-tube and trach ventilator care Reliable personal transportation to travel between work sites Previous critical care experience preferred; readiness to handle complex medical needs School nursing experience is a plus, but a passion for supporting children is key
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized medical care to secondary students Effectively manage medical equipment, including g-tubes and trach ventilators Communicate proactively with school staff, students, and families Contribute to a coordinated care plan, supporting the health and well-being of students Remain adaptable, as assignments could include travel to multiple campuses and participation in safe student transportation as needed
