Infusion Registered Nurse Seeking a part time with flexible schedule

Infusion Registered Nurse:

• Wednesday and Thursday only
• IV therapy skill is a must.
• Checking information from patient regarding illness, allergies, surgeries and insurance verification.
• Obtain vital signs, temperature, pulse and blood pressure.
• Determine dosage of medication based upon weight and covert to kg.
• Obtain signed consent form from patient.
• Obtain peripheral IV access.
• Prepare infusion medication by diluting and infusing in appropriate size IV fluids according to standard of medication.
• Begin infusion.
• Monitor vital signs, blood pressure and pulse accordingly.
• Discontinue IV access and document accordingly.
• Schedule appointment for next infusion according to the Physician's direction.

Required experience:

infusion: 2 years
