Job Description

NFI North provides mental health and behavioral support services to people facing life challenges. We design diverse and innovative programs that provide a high level of structure within communities of care when a person or family is in need. Our goal is for people to grow, have hope, thrive in their community and feel like they belong. NFI North Beacon House is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for our program in Buxton, Maine. Beacon House is a staff intensive residential treatment program with an added day treatment school for 8 adolescents with mental health, behavioral and emotional needs. As part of the management team, the RN will oversee medication administration, provide in-service training and medical supervision to the CRMA staff team, provide health class instruction for students, conduct medical assessments, coordinate medical appointments and facilitate communication among various medical providers to ensure that the needs of the participants are met. RN Licensure in the State of Maine is required. Candidates must be flexible, possess the ability to multi-task, and have a willingness to understand the strengths and challenges of participants living with mental health using trauma informed care.
