Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current, active RN license Experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in a school or educational environment Proficiency in tracheostomy care required Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following ethical standards Ability to work independently and adapt to the needs of a young student

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive, 1:1 nursing care for a kindergarten student during school hours Perform and monitor trach care, including assessment and interventions as required Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to foster a safe, supportive learning space Maintain accurate documentation of care and report updates to relevant parties Respond promptly and appropriately to any medical needs or emergencies Foster a positive, reassuring presence that encourages the student's participation and engagement
