9664470-04348 Job Description Make a meaningful impact in a school community by providing specialized nursing support for a student with unique medical needs. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work one-on-one with a kindergarten student diagnosed with Dravets syndrome and Autism. The role begins as soon as possible and extends through June 10, 2027. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with weekly hours ranging from 37.5 to 40. Compensation for this role ranges from $30 to $40 per hour, reflecting your expertise and dedication.

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse license in Maine Experience with seizure disorders and autism preferred Ability to provide 1:1 care and collaborate with educational staff Clinical judgment and calm under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

Ride with the student to and from school daily Monitor closely for seizure activity and implement the students individualized medical plan as needed Guide staff on proper response protocols and temperature-related activity modifications Conduct daily nursing observations, delivering precise and thorough documentation Collaborate with the 1:1 Ed Tech and support behavioral data collection when possible Until the student returns to class (expected late October), oversee campus-wide nursing duties as the sole RN at the school
