Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Soliant is seeking a Registered Nurse (School Nurse) for the 2026-2027 school year to provide high-quality healthcare and support the physical, emotional, and overall well-being of students. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and school staff while helping create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Traveling Registered Nurses Specialty Requirement:
Trach experience required Required Qualifications Active Maine Registered Nurse (RN) License Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing Current CPR/BLS certification Previous tracheostomy (trach) care experience required Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to provide safe and compassionate care to students Preferred Qualifications Previous school nursing or pediatric nursing experience Experience supporting students with chronic health conditions or complex medical needs Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and individualized healthcare plans Experience with medication administration and health documentation Ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and related service providers Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care, health assessments, and first aid to students Provide tracheostomy care and monitoring as required Monitor and support students with chronic health conditions and complex medical needs Administer and document medications according to school policies Maintain accurate student health records and medical documentation Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans as needed Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns Collaborate with teachers, administrators, therapists, and other healthcare professionals Promote student health, safety, and wellness throughout the school environment If you are an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse with trach care experience seeking a rewarding school-based opportunity, we encourage you to apply and make a meaningful difference in the life of a student!
