Registered Nurse Night Shift - $20,000 Sign-On Bonus Mount Joseph at Waterville is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Registered Nurse on our day shift, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents, while enjoying a collaborative and supportive work environment. About the
Role:
As a Registered Nurse on our night shift, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents, including assessing their physical and emotional needs, identifying potential problems, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering treatments, medications, and therapies as ordered by physicians Assess resident needs, identify potential problems, and develop and implement individualized care plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure that resident care is coordinated and effective Report significant changes in resident condition to primary care physicians, families, and/or designated POA's and guardians Document nursing notes accurately and in a timely manner Identify areas of concern and communicate with nursing supervisors and Director of Nursing as needed Provide education and support to residents, families, and staff on care and treatment plans
Requirements:
Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of Maine Must be physically able to do the job effectively for your scheduled shift Must be able to work independently and possess leadership and supervisory skills Must be able to communicate effectively with all persons surrounded in the quality of life of each of your residents Excellent attendance record required Must be willing to float to another unit or stay later than scheduled shift as needed Must maintain resident and staff confidentiality at all times
