We are seeking a full-time Seasonal Emergency Department RN to join our Emergent Care Team! This will be a 36 hour per week, 7:45 am to 7:00 pm shift at our campus in Wells, Maine. Seasonal rates will apply between Memorial Day and Indigenous People's Day. The ER Nurse is a professional Registered nurse who is accountable for the delivery of quality care to patients with varied diagnoses in our 13 bed, fast-paced Emergency Room.

This includes:

Assessing, coordinating and participating in the care and teaching for patients Ensuring that patient care is delivered in collaboration with the patient, family members, physicians, peers and other members of the healthcare team. Maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice in the clinical setting and responsibility for creating exceptional patient/family experiences during the delivery of this care Competency in caring for acute stroke, cardiac, pediatrics, geriatrics and trauma patients.

Education requirements:

RN program completion required; BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred

Experience:

1 - 2 years nursing experience in practice setting

Licensure:

ME or compact RN license BLS required

Certification:

BLS required; ACLS required; PALS preferred; TNCC preferred; MOAB or equivalent training preferred
