Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Long Term Care to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in long-term care facilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient assessment, medication administration, and chronic disease management, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring ongoing health support. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories, to develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments accurately, including injections, IV infusions, and wound suturing when necessary. Monitor residents' conditions continuously, recognizing signs of acute pain, infection, or deterioration requiring immediate intervention. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to manage complex cases involving memory care, behavioral health, or developmental disabilities. Maintain detailed medical documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health conditions, medication management, and wellness strategies. Ensure aseptic techniques are followed during procedures such as catheter care and specimen collection. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility support using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs. Participate in emergency response procedures within the facility, including trauma or cardiac events. Support infection control protocols and ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as NCQA standards.

Pay:
$51.00
