Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Registered Nurse license in Michigan Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred Strong understanding of catheterization procedures and best practices Compassionate communication skills and ability to collaborate with school personnel Current CPR/BLS certification
Responsibilities:
Delegate and perform catheterization procedure for a high school student at 12:45pm daily Provide monitoring and respond to any health needs between 9am-1:10pm, five days per week Communicate effectively with instructional aid and other school staff to ensure coordinated student support Adhere to school policies and maintain confidentiality of student health records Foster a safe, caring environment that encourages the student's participation in school activities This role is ideal for an RN passionate about student care, seeking consistent part-time hours, and interested in making a tangible difference in a school community.
