Contract Registered Nurse

• Saint Louis, MI Care One seeks dedicated RNs for full-time positions serving incarcerated individuals in a Saint Louis, MI correctional facility. Central Michigan Correctional Facility 2:00pm
• 10:30pm, occasional night coverage Saint Louis Correctional Facility 2:00pm
• 10:30pm , occasional day coverage Rotating weekends and holidays

PTO Weekly Pay Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care services, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assess patients' healthcare needs through routine evaluations and develop individualized nursing care plans accordingly. Conduct health screenings for patients or clients. Respond to emergency healthcare situations as needed. Collect and document data related to patients' health status. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners, and educate patients on treatment methods. Offer health education and instruction on promoting health and managing illnesses, diseases, injuries, or disabilities. Responsibilities may vary based on departmental assignments. Registered Nurse Qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
• Required. Two years of Nursing experience
• Required Ability to relate to and treat diverse patient needs.

Strong skills in patient assessment, management, and documentation. Experience with venipuncture and intravenous therapy. Ability to work in correctional facilities regardless of patient demographics. Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and collaboration. Integrity and sound judgment in handling confidential matters. Adaptability to changing organizational needs. Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
