Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Experienced ER nurses are needed to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department. This contract position plays a vital role in delivering exceptional care, making critical decisions, and supporting patients and families during emergency situations.
Schedule:
3 x 12-hour shifts per week Night shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am, or varied mid shifts (2:00pm - 2:00am) No block scheduling No on-call requiredQualifications:
Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Current ACLS and BLS certifications; TNCC preferred Minimum of one year of prior ER nursing experience Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Adaptable and able to excel in a high-acuity environment Excellent communication and teamwork abilitiesRole Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation Collaborate closely with physicians, emergency staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Manage and effectively respond to emergencies and rapidly changing situations Maintain accurate, thorough documentation and uphold all safety and infection control policies Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and care plansAdditional Details:
