Infusion nurses perform nursing-related procedures within patient homes in compliance with regulatory and industry standards and organizational policies and procedures. The infusion nurse provides direct patient care to infusion therapy patients and is responsible to assess actual and potential patient problems, as well as planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in coordination with the pharmacist.
Required Qualifications:
Registered Nurse Licensure in good standing with State Board of Nursing Minimum of 2 years clinical experience Minimum 1 year experience in acute care or alternate site IV therapy Good Interactive skills with employees, supervisors, referral sources and patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
IV Certification (i.e. CRNI) or other infusion related certification.
