Job Description
Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license At least 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing Strong assessment, organization, and communication skills Proficient with common bedside equipment and electronic health records Ability to multitask and adapt to changing patient conditions Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Commitment to professional standards and patient confidentialityResponsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed Closely monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes promptly Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care Document care provided and patient responses within electronic medical records Provide patient and family education to support recovery and health management Uphold infection control protocols and hospital policies This role is ideal for a dedicated RN who thrives in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting.
