Job Description
Qualifications & Experience:
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license Minimum of one year of recent experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) setting Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems Strong patient assessment, medication administration, and care planning skills Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities BLS certification (required); ACLS preferredResponsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to a diverse group of adult patients with a variety of medical conditions Conduct ongoing patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, perform interventions, and monitor patient responses Collaborate closely with physicians, allied health team members, patients, and their families to promote optimal health outcomes Accurately document all patient care activities and maintain up-to-date clinical records Respond promptly to changes in patients' conditions and initiate appropriate interventions Adhere to established policies, safety protocols, and infection control measures to maintain a safe patient environment Support patient education initiatives, discharge planning, and coordination of care transitions If you are committed to quality patient care and can thrive in a fast-paced med-surg unit, this contract role offers the chance to make a significant impact while advancing your nursing career.
