Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated female Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive Ventilator Care experience to join our dynamic healthcare team in a private home setting. This position is ideal for nurses already working in a hospital setting and looking for some extra income when not on shift. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care for just ONE patient requiring ventilator support, ensuring optimal respiratory function, overseeing proper enteral care, administering daily medication regimens and overall well-being. Your expertise will be utilized in caring for the elderly female patient who has few daily needs and is fully coherent. This is an independent contract job, and not affiliated with any home-care agencies, as you'll be working directly with the patient's family. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, respiratory status, and physical examinations to inform treatment plans. Administer medications following strict protocols and HIPAA regulations. Assist with airway management procedures such as suctioning, and tracheostomy care to maintain airway patency. Administer enteral feeding through GJ tube using Omni Kangaroo pump and following strict flushing and GJ tube care protocols. Document all patient interactions accurately using our PHR system. Qualifications Valid RN license with current state certification in Minnesota. Proven experience working with ventilators in settings such as ICU, PICU, or emergency medicine environments. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication and genuine care for the patient.

Pay:

$45.00 per hour
