1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Tele Float for a teaching hospital position requiring Epic experience and prior travel nursing experience. Details Work in the Tele Float unit of an acute care teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation 317 staffed beds Patient ratio of 1:5 Can also work med/surg as needed 4x12 day shifts (7:00-19:30) or night shifts (19:00-7:30) Required to work every other weekend No on-call responsibilities Floating required within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals to meet facility needs Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR Requirements Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted) Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Epic/Excellian charting experience required First-time travelers not accepted 1 supervisor reference required for consideration Additional Information Provide telemetry nursing care with cross-training to med/surg patient populations as needed Navy blue scrub color required Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered Returning staff must have been separated from perm employment (staff or per diem) for at least 3 months prior to starting RTO requests should ideally not exceed 5 days
