Aurora Mental Health & Wellness is a growing outpatient mental health clinic in Waite Park, Minnesota, dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care. We offer innovative and specialized treatment options, including: Spravato® (Esketamine) Therapy IV Ketamine Infusion Therapy Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Medication Management Services We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and work closely with our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Position Summary The Registered Nurse will play an integral role in supporting our psychiatric providers and coordinating patient care. This position combines clinical nursing skills with care coordination and patient education in a collaborative outpatient setting. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner regarding patient care plans. Assist with medication refill requests and prescription management. Conduct patient follow-up calls and check-ins. Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, pharmacies, and other healthcare professionals. Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns to the provider. Start and discontinue peripheral IVs for ketamine infusion treatments. Monitor patients receiving IV Ketamine, Spravato, and TMS treatments. Assess patients before, during, and after treatments, including obtaining vital signs and monitoring for adverse reactions. Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and procedures. Complete nursing documentation accurately and timely in the electronic health record. Assist with prior authorizations, treatment coordination, and clinical workflows as needed. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards.
Hours:
PART TIME/CASUAL.
This position will have a variable schedule, averaging 8-18 hours per week.
Pay:
$35-45/hr depending on experience.
