Immediately Job Description Substitute School Nurse Southern Boone School District Southern Boone School District is seeking a dependable and compassionate Substitute School Nurse to provide nursing services and support the health and well-being of students and staff as needed. Qualifications Active LPN license required; RN license preferred. Current CPR/AED certification required. Must successfully complete a background check through the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the FBI. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, administrators, and other school staff. Ability to respond calmly and appropriately to student health needs and emergencies. Responsibilities Provide nursing care and health services to students in accordance with school district policies and applicable regulations. Assess student health concerns and determine appropriate care or follow-up. Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as authorized. Respond to student illnesses, injuries, and health emergencies. Maintain accurate and confidential student health records. Communicate appropriately with parents/guardians, school staff, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs. Support a safe and healthy school environment. Position Requirements
Required:
Active LPN license and current CPR/AED certification

RN license

Successful completion of Missouri State Highway Patrol and FBI background checks
