Job Description

The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation features an expansive coalition of schools that allow our children to develop a sense of purpose and value, receive a higher quality education, join a welcoming community and feel secure in a a dynamic future. We have a rich history, with its establishment 200 years ago by St. Rose Phillppine Duchesne. A coalition of schools serving over 50,000 students (PreK-12) within an 11-county area. Job Summary

To promote the physical and emotional well-being of students by providing medical care, managing chronic conditions, and supporting a healthy school environment through health education, early intervention, and communication with families and staff.



Job Responsibilities

Student Health Services Administer first aid, medication, and emergency care per protocol

Manage chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies) for individual students

Communicate with parents regarding health concerns and follow-up care

Work with teachers and staff to support students with medical needs in the classroom

Coordinate with outside healthcare providers and local health departments when necessary

Follow school safety and emergency procedures accurately.

Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri

CPR/AED and First Aid Certification

Experience in pediatric, school, or community health setting preferred

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to work independently, make sound judgments, and stay calm under pressure

Knowledge of school health regulations and public health practices

Comfortable using digital tools for documentation and communication Commitment to Catholic values and willingness to support the school's mission
