Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care across diverse medical settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent assessment skills, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based nursing services. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for evaluating patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. This role offers an opportunity to work in dynamic environments such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, or home health settings. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Epic. Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques. Manage complex medical procedures including IV infusions, catheterizations, wound suturing, and ventilator management. Provide acute pain management and participate in emergency response procedures within Level I or Level II trauma center environments. Coordinate patient care plans through case management strategies, discharge planning, and collaboration with physicians and specialists in fields such as cardiology, ophthalmology, or infectious disease care. Perform diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection, laboratory testing, and interpreting ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation. Support patients with chronic conditions such as geriatrics, memory care, behavioral health issues, or developmental disabilities by implementing tailored nursing interventions. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols including infection control practices and sterile processing standards during procedures like phlebotomy or ostomy care. Requirements Valid nursing license (RN) in the relevant state or jurisdiction with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Proven experience working in diverse clinical settings such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU/CCU (Critical Care Unit), or outpatient clinics. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and patient record management. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology essential for comprehensive patient assessment and treatment planning. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs in settings such as assisted living or long-term care facilities is preferred. Ability to perform under pressure during urgent situations such as trauma response or critical care scenarios while maintaining professionalism. Excellent communication skills for effective triage, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration across healthcare teams.
