Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN Christian County Jail - Ozark, Missouri PRN | $40.00 per hour | TK Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at Christian County Jail in Ozark, Missouri on a PRN basis. Correctional nursing provides an opportunity to use a broad range of clinical skills while caring for a diverse patient population in a secure and structured environment. Our nurses play an important role in providing quality healthcare to patients who may have limited access to care in the community. Correctional healthcare experience is not required, and new graduates are welcome to apply. Responsibilities may include:
Perform nursing assessments and respond to changes in patient condition Administer medications and treatments as ordered Provide care for acute and chronic medical conditions Respond to medical needs and emergencies within the facility Carry out provider orders and assist with treatment plans Provide patient education and support Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Communicate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and facility personnel Follow established nursing protocols, policies, and standards of care Maintain patient confidentiality and professional nursing standards Qualifications Current, valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Current CPR certification Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Ability to successfully complete required background and pre-employment screening Why Correctional Nursing?
