FullTime Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary We are seeking a Registered Nurse with exceptional IV skills who would enjoy working in a clinic setting administering atypical infusions in our Outpatient Multispecialty Clinic. Our specialties include, but are not limited to, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology and Bone & Mineral. Our infusion nurses provide direct care to patients receiving infusions such as Iron, Remicade, Aranesp, Entyvio, Reclast, and perform Lipid Apheresis. The primary responsibilities are starting line access, mixing and preparing medication and monitoring patients during their outpatient infusion. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Work Relationships Maintains a working relationship with colleagues and all essential external contacts to promote adequate and appropriate care for patients and high level of service to internal and external physicians. Follows SBAR (situation-background-assessment-recommendation) communication with the medical team. Works with clinical nurse coordinators and physicians on development and selection of appropriate patient interventions. Demonstrates appropriate interpersonal relationships with supervisors, co-workers, physicians and employees of other departments. Displays a helpful, positive attitude at all times. Follows established service steps by acknowledging individual, clarifying situation, meeting or exceeding the need and confirming satisfaction. Initiates and maintains professional relationships with patients and their families.
