Gifted Healthcare seeks an experienced LTAC Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity, long-term acute care to medically complex patients. In this role, you'll deliver comprehensive bedside care, manage ventilators, complex IV therapies, and wound care while closely monitoring patient status. Responsibilities Provide direct bedside nursing care to medically complex LTAC patients Monitor and manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, and respiratory support Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products per protocol Perform advanced wound care and infection prevention measures Continuously assess, document, and report changes in patient condition Develop and implement individualized care plans with the care team Educate patients and families on treatments, recovery, and discharge needs Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers on patient goals Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation and follow LTAC protocols Support a culture of safety, quality, and evidence-based practice Required Skills Acute care bedside nursing Ventilator management IV medication administration Central line care Advanced wound care Telemetry and cardiac monitoring Tracheostomy care Patient and family education EMR documentation Infection control and safety protocols
