Job Description

Job Overview Looking for an infusion nurse to give IV biologic medications to Rheumatology patients in a outpatient clinic setting. Currently at once a week schedule. Duties Administer intravenous (IV) infusions, including medications, fluids, and biologics, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort. Assess patient needs through comprehensive evaluations, vital signs monitoring. Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation within electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as physician and medical assistants to develop personalized treatment plans. Monitor for adverse reactions or complications during infusions and respond swiftly using aseptic techniques and emergency protocols. Ensure all equipment is sterile, properly maintained, and ready for use; practice infection control standards rigorously. Skills Proven experience with IV insertion, catheter care, and aseptic technique in various clinical environments such as hospital medicine or outpatient clinics.
