A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. Schedule:
3x12s; days; 7a-7p Additional Details about the position Provide assistance and support to clients in maintaining a therapeutic environment. Performs nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation for adult clients in the facility. Assigning work and providing direction and training to subordinate nursing personnel. Additionally, shift differential may available, and one meal is provided per shift.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1 year travel experience At least 2 years of working in mental health setting Minimum 2 years in geriatric psych nursing Skilled in De-Escalation
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BLS CPI
preferred
LICENSURE REQUIREMENT RN

ABOUT THE FACILITY
This facility provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults with serious mental illness.
Services provided include:
evaluation and assessment, medication management, individual and group therapy, psycho-educational programs, rehabilitation and vocational services, chemical dependency treatment, and peer support. This location is the only public psychiatric hospital in Montana and serves people admitted from communities across the state.
