We are looking for an experienced Travel Emergency Room RN for a 13-week travel nursing assignment at Big Sky Medical Center in Big Sky, Montana. This Emergency Room travel nursing position offers $2,730 per week for 36 hours, working three 12-hour shifts. The schedule will include a combination of days, nights, and weekends.

September 9, 2026 Requirements Candidates must meet the following requirements: Current Montana Registered Nurse license Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Minimum 1 year of Emergency Nursing or Critical Care experience American Heart Association BLS American Heart Association

ACLS NIH

Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification American Heart Association PALS or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification Competence in and willingness to practice modified primary nursing Ability to meet applicable stroke and trauma education requirements Ability to work variable shifts, including days, nights and weekends Position Responsibilities The Emergency Room RN will provide safe, compassionate and high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, evaluating patient outcomes, promoting patient safety and collaborating closely with physicians and other members of the healthcare team. The RN must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, teamwork, professionalism and confidentiality while maintaining current nursing knowledge and competencies. Candidates must also be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
