Job Description
Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Travel Experience the vibrant energy of Concord, NC, a dynamic community in the heart of the Carolinas. This location blends small-town warmth with access to regional attractions—perfect for adventurers eager to enhance their nursing career while exploring nearby recreation, history, and diverse cuisine during their downtime. Working in this acute care environment will expose you to a variety of practices, patient populations, and leadership styles. You'll advance your skills within a 207-bed hospital featuring a Chest Pain and Stroke Center, and expand your resume with specialized experience in cardiac telemetry and med/surg care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and refine your critical thinking by rotating through multiple facilities in the region, a unique opportunity to broaden your clinical perspective.
Schedule/Hours:
Standard scheduling with 6-week cycles Every other weekend required 75% of holidays worked per contract No on-call obligationsDesired Qualifications:
Active RN licensure, with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Minimum 18 months' experience in Med/Tele required Strong cardiac monitoring, trach care, drip management, and medication administration skills Comfort with Epic, Alaris, and Omnicell Flexible and willing to float throughout designated facilities and units as needed Adaptability and strong communication skills to thrive in a resource team settingKey Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive care to patients with cardiac, neurological, and general medical diagnoses Conduct cardiac rhythm interpretation and participate in initial cardiac workups Manage complex medication infusions, various drains, and support advanced cardiac interventions Coordinate with interdisciplinary support staff, hospitalists, and intensivists Float to assigned units and locations within regional scope of practiceBenefits and Perks:
